Costco - What's Cheap, Actually?

With the current Coles and Wollies' price wars, lots of our daily goods are much cheaper than ever.  The question of whether it's worth the $60 Costco annual membership or not is being asked frequently.

Being a Costco member, there are only two main reasons:
1. Price
2. Unique Products

CHEAP items in Costco:
  1. Frozen Mixed Berries 1kg - $6.29
  2. Free Range Eggs 18cts (900g) - $4.29
  3. Dried Mango
  4. Rice
  5. Short Rib Beef - $16 per kg
  6. Duck
  7. Spinach $8 per kg
  8. Asparagus 0.5kg - $3.49
  9. Lilydale Chicken $5.80 per kg
  10. Milk Lite 3 litre - $2.88
  11. Jalna Vanilla 1kg - $4.19

Unique Products in Costco:
  1. French Truffle Chocolate 2kg - around $10 as May 24, 2013.
  2. Plain Indian Roti 1kg - $9.69

The Bose Soundbar 700 Won't Connect to App

Bose has one of the best speaker sound. I learnt about Bose more than 25 years ago and still a fan.  I bought Soundbar 700 in 2018.  It took me a while to set it up but it has been giving me troubles once a while.  Recently, I was not able to connect Soundbar 700 with my phone.  Done the factory reset on the soundbar, it didn't work. I think the most important setting is to TURN WPS OFF on the router!  Hope it helps.

Restricted enrolment schools (Melbourne Eastern Region)

Due to facility limitations, Eastern Metropolitan Region has a number of schools with enrolments restricted in various ways. These schools are not required to enrol students outside their neighbourhood area unless they have spare places. They are referred to as having an enrolment ceiling and/or a designated neighbourhood area (formerly known as zones).  Any additional students must be enrolled strictly according to Department of Education and Early Childhood Development priority criteria. SCHOOLS WITH AN APPROVED ENROLMENT UNDERSTANDING Designated Neighbourhood Area In some instances the Regional Director may need to restrict new enrolments at a particular school and will therefore specifically designate the neighbourhood area (formerly referred to as a zone).  Children who live outside the Designated Neighbourhood Area cannot be guaranteed a place at that school even if it is their closest neighbourhood school.  The the following schools have an apporved ...
